Business Terms

These terms describe authorized business use of the Requisition Desk website, Desk, API, communications, and procurement services provided by Requisition Desk LLC.

Last updated September 25, 2026

Business scope and authority

Requisition Desk is a business-to-business service. You may use it only for an organization you are authorized to represent. You are responsible for acting within the authority that organization gives you, including any purchasing, approval, budget, delivery, and system access limits.

If Requisition Desk LLC and your organization separately agree terms that cover the same subject, those customer-specific terms control only to the extent of a conflict. These public terms otherwise continue to apply. Nothing in either set of terms limits privacy or other rights that applicable law makes mandatory.

Users, delegated agents, and credentials

Your organization may allow employees, contractors, software agents, procurement systems, or other delegates to act for it. It is responsible for choosing and supervising those delegates and for instructions they send within their authority.

Keep account access, email verification links, API credentials, tokens, and other security material confidential. Do not share credentials between organizations or expose them in public code, prompts, logs, messages, or documents. Notify us at support@reqdesk.com if access may have been compromised or should be revoked.

Permitted and prohibited use

You may use the services for lawful, authorized business procurement and related sourcing, quoting, fulfillment coordination, account administration, and support. Information you provide must be materially accurate for the requested work, and you must have the right to submit it.

You must not use the services to:

  • seek goods, services, delivery, or activity that is unlawful or unauthorized;
  • misrepresent identity, affiliation, authority, approval, destination, or intended use;
  • access another organization’s records or credentials without authorization;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or interfere with security or service operation;
  • introduce malware or use the services to harm people, systems, or property; or
  • copy, scrape, or automate access in a way that is abusive or outside the provided interfaces.

Do not include passwords, private keys, payment-card details, health information, export-controlled technical data, or other unnecessary sensitive material in a requisition or message. If particular information is necessary, first arrange an appropriate channel with the desk.

Your submissions and business records

You and your organization retain your rights in specifications, messages, files, and other materials you submit. You give Requisition Desk permission to receive, copy, review, organize, transmit, and otherwise process those materials only as reasonably necessary to operate the requested service, communicate, source and quote, coordinate a transaction, maintain appropriate business records, secure the service, and meet legal obligations. This is not a transfer of ownership or a license for unrelated exploitation.

Submit confidential business information only when it is relevant to the request and you are authorized to disclose it. We will treat submitted material as business records and handle personal information as described in the Privacy Notice. A separately agreed confidentiality agreement controls where it conflicts with these terms.

A request or quote is not an order

Submitting a requisition asks the desk to evaluate or source it. Publishing or sending a quote, message, proposed configuration, availability statement, or file does not by itself place or accept an order. Quotes may depend on timing, inventory, destination, taxes, shipping, supplier confirmation, credit review, and other stated conditions.

A purchase begins only when authorized parties agree the applicable transaction and any required ordering steps are completed. Until then, neither a submitted request nor our response obligates either party to buy or supply anything.

Purchases and fulfillment

Product selection, price, quantity, delivery, payment, taxes, title, risk, returns, warranties, services, and other purchase or fulfillment matters are governed by the quote, order confirmation, customer agreement, or other transaction terms separately agreed by authorized parties. Those terms may vary by transaction.

Commercial details in an accepted purchase order may form part of the transaction. Printed or linked boilerplate in a purchase order, portal, acknowledgment, or other form does not automatically replace separately agreed terms. Any change must be agreed by authorized parties or arise under applicable law.

Service availability, changes, and suspension

We work to keep the website, Desk, and API reasonably available and secure, but maintenance, supplier dependencies, network conditions, security events, and other operational factors may interrupt or delay them. Time-sensitive procurement should not rely on uninterrupted access to a single channel; you may contact the desk by email when appropriate.

We may make reasonable changes to interfaces, features, limits, and workflows as the service evolves. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably needed to address security, suspected misuse, legal requirements, material operational risk, or nonpayment under an applicable transaction. When circumstances permit, we will use reasonable efforts to limit the scope and communicate with the affected organization.

These operational provisions do not override a separately agreed service commitment or remedy, and they do not exclude obligations that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude.

Privacy, storage technologies, and contact

Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information. Our Cookies & Storage Notice describes cookies, browser storage, analytics, and performance scripts used by the website and Desk.
